About Lori Lennox

Lori Lennox is an executive coach and leadership consultant who specializes in working with executives and teams on emotional intelligence, leadership style, interpersonal and communication skills, and behavioral patterns that directly affect growth, performance, valuation, and goal achievement.

She helps clients expand their thinking past local landscapes, which leads to alternative approaches to troublesome issues and challenges. That, alone, sparks innovative problem solving.

Keenly perceptive and highly educated in human behavior and coaching, Lori works beyond the obvious with clients, helping them clear out self-imposed clutter to gain new and powerful insight and self-awareness in order to leverage their strengths and tap into opportunities otherwise shielded in blind spots. Moving from micro to macro, she helps clients see what they can’t see—with honest feedback that facilitates exploration of uncharted possibilities.

During her 18-year corporate career, Lori achieved measurable success in cross-functional leadership positions with Fortune 100 companies, including Cisco Systems and General Electric Company. She gained much of her organizational development expertise in her eight-year tenure with GE, where she played a leading role in GE's highly respected productivity initiative, under the leadership of Jack Welch. This initiative included programs such as Work Out, Change Acceleration Process, Talent Management, and Six Sigma.

In 2001, Lori launched her coaching consultancy and today coaches leaders globally in the areas of technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, venture capital, non-profit, and start-up, with a client list that includes Adobe, Cisco, Cadence Design Systems, Kaiser Permnente, and State of California. Certified in a number of coaching disciplines, including Cultural Transformation, Team Performance, and Emotional Intelligence, Lori focuses much of her work in the areas of Systems Coaching and Conversational Leadership, identifying and engaging with the crucial and often courageous exchanges that facilitate meaningful change.

Lori’s certification through Harvard Law School’s Negotiation Project enables her to employ distinctive tools and processes to help those in discord have the conversations they’re not having. By embracing ways to resolve conflict, rather than reverting to default conflict-resolution strategies, Lori’s clients are empowered to seek positive outcomes from difficult, uncomfortable situations, boosting productivity and reducing resultant stress and time-draining distractions. Lori is also a certified facilitator in the innovative Immunity to Change process through Harvard University.

Lori holds a B.S. in finance from Virginia Tech and has received extensive master’s-level education through study at the legendary John F. Welch Leadership Development Center, esteemed for its real-world applications in organizational development, leadership, and innovation. Lori completed the one-year Conversational Leadership course at Invitas, the institute for conversational leadership, and continues her education with course work at Harvard University and University of Santa Monica.
